Bio

My expertise is in climate warming gases and ozone depleting substances. These are mainly man made gases controlled under various international treaties, such as refrigerants, chemical feedstocks, semi-conductor etching gases and solvents. I quantify their emissions from the global to local scales and investigate whether changes are falling in line with expectations. My work requires me to communicate with policy makers, industry experts and academics. Much of my interest lies in applying statistical methods and physical models to make these interpretations.
