Bio

Zehui Liu is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Professor Noelle E. Selin’s group. She received her PhD in Atmospheric Physics and Environment from Peking University, where her research focused on the impacts of nitrogen emissions and land use change on regional air quality. In 2022, she was a guest research assistant at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), working with the Pollution Management Research Group. Her research focus is to understand and explore air pollution and biosphere-atmosphere interactions, as well as their implications for environmental and climate change, through the use of advanced numerical modeling tools. At MIT, she is working to quantitatively assess the impact of forestry management and land competition on climate change and air quality.
