Xaquin García-Muros

Xaquin currently works at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) in Spain on environmental economics and just energy transition. He was formerly a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change supported by a Marie Curie Individual Fellowships Global Grant. He is the recipient of the Enrique Fuentes Quintana Prize in Applied Economics, for the best thesis in social sciences by Cajas de Ahorros Foundation (Funcas); an Extraordinary Doctorate Prize of the UPV/EHU; and the Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE) Young Researcher Award in Energy Economics.
